ESBI Computing awarded SAP Accreditation

The SAP Competence Centre in ESBI Computing has been awarded formal SAP accreditation for its Customer Support Centre operations. The award recognises the fact that the ESBI Computing SAP Competence Centre operates to international best practice in its service to ESB Customers.
The SAP Customer Competence Centre (CCC) Programme is designed to assist and support SAP Customers in the creation, operation and on-going development of a permanent centre of expertise in the enterprise. This centre supports the efficient implementation, enhancement and maintenance of common business processes and systems build around SAP R/3 or mySAP solutions.
CCC Certification is a part of SAP's Certification Programme, which offers its customers the opportunity to obtain formal recognition by SAP of the practices, procedures and performance of these functions by their Competence Centre.
The certification was awarded following a formal audit by SAP.
The award was presented to ESBI Computing General Manager; John McSweeney, by the SAP Ireland General Manager, Fiona Walsh. The ESB now belong to an elite group of five Irish SAP customers who have achieved certification. The other four are Glanbia, Elan Pharmaceuticals, Waterford Crystal and CIE Group.
