ESBI Computing develop award-winning site

As part of ESB's on-going commitment to enhanced customer service ESB Customer Supply business unit has recently implemented a Complaints Management System. The System, which was developed by ESBI Computing, will allow every staff member in ESB Customer Supply to log any complaints they receive from customers and will enable those complaints to be referred to the appropriate section or individual for resolution.

The system will create an opportunity for ESB Customer Supply to hear what its customers have to say, take their views on board and drive improvements in the business. It will also help the business in becoming more customer-focused and improve the level of service offered to customers.

Speaking about the system, ESB Customer Supply General Manager Charles Chapman said "ESB Customer Supply staff have always been helpful and pro-active in trying to resolve customer complaints. I hope that this new system will make all our work in this regard easier, both in day to day terms, where a better system should result in a more efficient process, and at a strategic level, where we can use the outputs to focus on areas of the business where we can do better".

Last month the system received one of the coveted Excelsior Awards which are sponsored by The Sunday Business Post and iQuest. The Excelsior Awards recognise national achievement in Customer Excellence. It is the only awards programme in Ireland that directly recognises companies which excel in taking care of their most important asset -the customer. ESB were delighted to receive a number of awards at the Award Ceremony which took place in Dublin at the end of October.

ESBI Computing now host and maintain this system on behalf of ESB Customer Supply.
