At the recent mobile solutions forum hosted by PC Cubed in Leopardstown Pavillion. ESBI Computing in conjunction with Ordnance Survey Ireland (Osi)showcased 'GeoMobile' ESBI Computing's GIS mobile solution.

The Mobile Solutions forum is an annual event designed to up date IT Professionals on current mobile solutions and display how mobile technology is accelerating as a total enterprise solution. Once applied effectively mobile technology can significantly save companies time and money.

GeoMobile is a powerful Mobile Geographic Information System (GIS), which will allow you to take your GIS applications off the desktop and into the field using pocket PC devices. GeoMobile gives you the ability to synchronise data between your pocket PC and your desktop PC or office network.

GeoMobile will enable you to view, capture and verify map and attribute data directly in the field. Your maps are representations of real world objects. Now you can view, create and modify those objects while standing on or next to them.
