Quality Assurance
Managing quality on projects is a specialist area, as projects
are unique by their nature and do not produce repeatable products
or services, and therefore cannot conform to systematic processes
that can be measured or inspected.
The success of a project is determined by its ability to satisfy
both the explicit and implicit requirements of the customer, and
this can be achieved through the quality assurance process. Many
organisations that use quality management systems are primarily
focussed on core operational activities and may not have a quality
policy relating to project work undertaken within their organisation.
Our service focuses on three key elements in project quality
management:
- Quality Planning
- Quality Assurance
- Quality Control
We help client organisations to establish a methodology for developing
quality plans on projects using a product-based planning technique
over the life-cycle of a project. This approach uses product benchmarking,
cost / benefit analysis and cost-of-quality analysis to determine
an appropriate level of quality assurance for the project.
We also engage in Quality Assurance and Quality Control assignments
on projects that require independent expertise to advise on the
quality evolution on a project or to assist in the definition of project
deliverables in our core technology areas.
Our strength is our methodology and our combined knowledge in
this field which ensures a planned and systematic approach to
all project engagements, and a high level of service quality to
our clients.
