Bentley PowerDraft is the premier 2D drawing-oriented solution

user interface, intuitive viewing techniques and an innovative
set of industry-recognised tools for production work and simple
3D production drafting. PowerDraft offers a strategic alternative
for project teams, with complete fidelity with other MicroStation-based
solutions Bentley PowerDraft reads MicroStation design files and
AutoCAD .DWG and .DXF files directly. Based on the same JMDL kernel
that is incorporated in MicroStation, Bentley PowerDraft runs
both MDL applications and 100% Pure Java applets without modification,
providing the foundation for advanced functionality. It can also
be easily customised using MicroStation BASIC.
Bentley PowerDraft is optimised for Microsoft Windows configurations
and provides QuickVision GL support for the interactive manipulation
of 3D models in shaded mode.
Bentley Powerdraft

In the same way that MicroStation extends computer-aided design

Geometry stored in Oracle Spatial is Open-GIS compliant and can
be shared with other Open-GIS compliant applications. Oracle 8i
and 9i Spatial are supported as well as Oracle 9i Locator. Oracle
Locator is a feature of Oracle9i Standard and Enterprise Editions
that provides spatial object type storage, indexing and operations
to support a variety of location-based services (LBS) and 3rd
party GIS solutions. Oracle Spatial is an option for Oracle9i

Microstation Geographics
MicroStation Descartes is a comprehensive imaging solution for
image mapping, visualization and raster-to-vector conversion projects.
Designed for both production and visualization, MicroStation Descartes
is used world-wide by engineers and planners in many disciplines,
such as civil engineering, plant design, geoengineering and architectural
design.
Part of the Geoengineering Product line, MicroStation Descartes
is used by governments and utilities for mapping, imaging and
spatial analysis.
MicroStation Descartes adds high-performance raster operations
to MicroStation, allowing warp, reference, resample, mosaic creation
and 3D terrain draping to produce outstanding image scenes. Additionally,
MicroStation Descartes provides tools such as an integrated Optical
Character Recognition (OCR) and Line Following engines, plus several
tools to enhance and repair legacy drawings. Because MicroStation
Descartes is tightly integrated into MicroStation, it can be customised
to integrate in workflows where automation and interface modification

print them to paper on any Windows-supported printer. It's that
easy.
But beyond traditional paper plotting features, Digital InterPlot
also plots electronic versions of your drawings directly into
online repositories, where they will not be damaged by heat and
humidity or other physical threats that typically harm paper plots.
And with the addition of Bentley ProjectWise Concurrent Use Licenses,
Digital InterPlot lets you take advantage of today's Internet
and Web technology to deliver plots to remote locations, where
team members and contractors can view them on- line or print them
to paper. No additional software products are required by the
remote users, and there are many options to how the remote printing
can be done - you can even print to original engineering scale.
Digital InterPlot is integrated with the Microsoft Windows printing
system and works in conjunction with either Interplot device drivers
or Microsoft Windows printer drivers.
Digital Interplot
Bentley ProjectWise is the AEC content management solution for
the engineering office. Users can consolidate decentralised engineering
content into a single presentation to ensure that all project
team members have access to the right data when they need it.
ProjectWise is designed to handle MicroStation DGN and AutoCAD
DWG files, as well as other business file formats.
This three-tier solution leverages existing network infrastructures
and provides a common platform for the management of content created
by Bentley's portfolio of engineering applications. Related project
documents, such as those created by Microsoft Office XP, can also
be stored, viewed and annotated within the Bentley ProjectWise
environment. This allows the creation and management of project
content throughout the design and construction process, as well
as the reuse of that content during the operational lifetime of
the built asset.
Bentley ProjectWise users can publish content through the implementation
of Bentley content publishing solutions for Web plotting, Web
publishing and 3D model streaming.
