Rep Territory Planning

We have significant experience in rep (customer service and sales representative) territory planning and re-organisation. GIS revolutionises the process of optimising the allocation of customers or outlets to sales or other types of reps, and in conjunction with journey planning can reduce the process to a fraction of the time and effort it previously required.

Rep re-organisations can be very disruptive to your organisation and we aim to minimise their impacts. External factors can be used to influence rep areas such as consumer or customer type and variable take up of products. We can also take existing or proposed regional reporting (political) factors into consideration.

While we use geography as a driving force to create discrete rep areas with the shortest possible drive times, we also need to consider the potential workload as some 'visits' may be scheduled to take longer, and some reps may have fewer outlets as a result.
