New Interlink web-site goes live!

In January 07, the new Interlink web-site went live. www.interlink.ie is a newly designed site developed by ESBI Computing. Interlink Ireland required a new Web site that would be a key business application to enable Interlink Ireland to grow it’s current customer base while offering enhanced services to current customers and depot owners. It will also decrease workload on Interlink staff, by offering direct access to customer account details and Proof of Delivery (POD) information.
Solution
The new web site included additional functionality
- Quick track facility
- Track and Trace
- Account Information
- Depot Owner Information
Track and Trace, Account Information and Depot Owner Information are all required to be accessible via an extranet web site.
The solution is based on ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server and DotNetNuke for Content Management. All three technologies are world leaders in their space and are designed to integrate together to provide powerful, scalable reliable solutions.
The solution provides quick and easy access to key Interlink information in a modern design. In addition, the solution is highly configurable and maintainable with administrators having the ability to log in and change content or design aspects of the site from any Internet connection.
